Electrical Engineer

Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles with smart water machines. As the market leader in IoT-enabled beverage machines, Bevi has raised over $160M in venture capital and has experienced tremendous growth each year since launch. They are now seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on their hardware product with a cloud-based back-end and help bring new ideas from prototype to production.

The ideal candidate should have experience with PCBA designs that include networking, sensing, and interfacing with other hardware components. They should be ready to develop the next generation of products and help continually improve existing ones.

Key responsibilities include:

• Scoping new projects by understanding electrical system needs and conducting analysis and tradeoff studies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, reliable products
• Participating in all phases of electrical engineering activities from design specification to production rollout
• Developing circuit and PCB designs
• Debugging, data collection, and analysis to develop reliable systems
• Designing, testing, and validating custom PCBAs, including power, high-speed, RF, and networking circuits
• Generating detailed electrical schematic and layout exports, drawings, and BOMs for PCBAs
• Developing best practices for electrical engineering, release, and quality
• Working with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot issues and execute changes to systems in production

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of industry experience
• Strong understanding of circuit design best practices
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
• Experience with signal acquisition/analysis tools
• Hands-on experience in PCB bring-up, debug, and failure analysis
• Familiarity with DFM and DFT for PCBA design
• Ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment
