As the market leader, they're seeking a Hardware Quality Engineer to join their manufacturing and quality team. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving product quality across their growing product line.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware, quality control, and manufacturing. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing and Quality, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in Bevi's products. The role involves close collaboration with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams including Engineering, Customer Support, and Field Support.

Key aspects of the role include leading quality improvement initiatives, implementing statistical process control, managing supplier relationships, and participating in product development. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong communication skills, as you'll be interfacing with various stakeholders both internally and externally.

Responsibilities For Hardware Quality Engineer

  • Work with contract manufacturer quality team for timely responses and corrective actions
  • Ensure accurate root cause analysis for design, manufacturing and field failures
  • Work with Customer Support and Field Support teams to resolve quality issues
  • Establish qualifications process for new suppliers with Supply chain team
  • Act as technical liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing and suppliers
  • Improve documentation for supplier understanding and inspection criteria
  • Participate in product development and design reviews
  • Manage nonconforming conditions and minimize production disruptions
  • Maintain suppliers' Quality data collection and initiate improvement activities

Requirements For Hardware Quality Engineer

  • 3-5 years minimum work experience as Quality Engineer
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Experience with statistical tools, process FMEAs and root cause problem solving
  • Experience leading Process Improvement Teams
  • Experience with SPC tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Ability to be in office 4-5 days per week
  • Must be able to travel up to 2%
