Responsibilities For Infrastructure Engineer

  • Maintain all elements of IT Infrastructure, supporting and optimizing key functional areas
  • Monitor IT service performance, availability and capacity
  • Ensure data centre capacity is measured and provide regular capacity reports
  • Test and document disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Support the review of system architecture and recommend improvements
  • Provide day to day consultation, training, instruction, troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Apply technical support concepts to deliver the highest standard of technical support

Requirements For Infrastructure Engineer

Linux
  • Comprehensive understanding of Biffa business plans
  • Knowledge to propose IT responses to changing business and project risks
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure design and support
  • Linux and Windows administration and support skills
  • Experience of Enterprise anti-virus and Cloud technologies
