Responsibilities For Regional Asset Engineer

  • Support Regional Fleet Manager and provide direction for regional fleet workshops
  • Manage customer requirements for vehicle & Mobile Plant uptime & availability
  • Monitor and improve region's fleet performance using fleet management system
  • Ensure asset compliance with current legislation and H&S standards
  • Manage third party service providers via SLAs
  • Review financial and operational performance
  • Monitor fleet management system accuracy
  • Manage business performance measures
  • Conduct Health and Safety auditing within the region
  • Develop and inspire teams to achieve objectives

Requirements For Regional Asset Engineer

  • Relevant Technical Qualification
  • Valid driving license
  • Management experience of a B2B service delivery region/area
  • Previous experience in similar role within fleet business
  • Knowledge of maintaining vehicles in line with DVSA guide to roadworthiness
  • Operational knowledge of workshop working practices including H&S legislation
  • Understanding of Operators Licence requirements
  • Knowledge of workshop procedures & DVSA testing regime
  • Good understanding of MOT inspection standards
  • Experience managing in labor intensive, multi-shift environment
