Head of Engineering

Bigblue is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead and scale their engineering team. Founded in 2018, Bigblue has raised $18M and has over 90 employees across offices in Paris, Madrid, London, and remote locations. The role involves managing engineers, fostering a strong product engineering culture, and working closely with the CTO and Head of Product.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and structuring engineering teams
• Contributing to Bigblue's product engineering culture
• Overseeing day-to-day execution and maintaining high engineering standards
• Collaborating on process improvements and engineering roadmaps
• Hiring talented Engineering Managers and Engineers
• Cultivating a motivated and high-performing team

• Experience leading growing engineering teams through organizational changes
• Technical depth in full stack and distributed systems
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Ability to interface with executive management and board members
