Senior Software Engineer

Bigblue is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their ambitious team in shaping a new, frictionless logistics experience. As Amazon invests heavily in e-commerce infrastructure, Bigblue aims to empower independent brands to compete effectively.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Own projects from solution exploration through implementation
• Design scalable systems considering hyper-growth
• Review peer code and ensure quality control
• Improve engineering standards and development tooling
• Participate in system design discussions

The ideal candidate will have:

• An engineering degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in languages like Go, Java, Scala, or Python
• Familiarity with scalable systems and design patterns
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for production code
• Excellent English communication skills

Additional desirable skills include experience with Go and/or React-Typescript, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems.
