Senior Software Engineer - Occitanie

Bigblue is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their new engineering office in Occitanie, France. As part of the Product Team, you'll work on creating pragmatic solutions to complex problems, empowering hundreds of brands in their e-commerce operations.

Founded in 2018, Bigblue has raised $18M and has grown to over 80 employees across offices in Paris, Madrid, London, and remote locations. The company is building a global fulfilment leader to help independent brands compete against giants like Amazon.

In this role, you'll:

• Own projects from solution exploration through implementation
• Design scalable systems for hyper-growth
• Review code and maintain high quality standards
• Improve engineering standards and development tooling
• Participate in system design discussions

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in languages like Go, Java, Scala, or Python
• Familiarity with scalable system design
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for production code
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice-to-have skills include experience with Go, React-Typescript, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems.
