Solutions Engineer

BigID is an innovative tech startup leading the market in data solutions, including security, compliance, privacy, and AI data management. We're expanding our Solutions Engineering team and seeking top Engineers to join us. In this role, you'll work closely with innovative companies interested in our platform, influencing customer decisions, providing insightful solutions, and driving successful proof-of-value implementations.

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll collaborate with the Sales team as a technical subject matter expert during customer calls and presentations. You'll use your market and technical knowledge to consult on best practices and offer direction for solution architecture and design. Staying up-to-date on competitive solutions is crucial, as you'll drive customer success with real-world knowledge and recommendations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with post-sales teams
• Providing feedback to Product Management

We're looking for someone with excellent customer-facing communication skills, good troubleshooting abilities, and a broad understanding of enterprise data architecture, privacy, and security technologies. Experience with RDBMS systems, no-SQL data stores, Hadoop technologies, and cloud technologies is valuable. Prior experience in Identity and Access Management or Data Loss Prevention tools is a plus.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in pre-sales engineering or consulting
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's a plus)
• Experience with Linux and container frameworks like Kubernetes (required)

The annual base salary range is $150,000 - $175,000, with additional variable compensation and equity incentives based on performance.
