Sr Solutions/Presales Engineer - NY/NJ

BigID is seeking a Sr Solutions/Presales Engineer for their NY/NJ office. This role requires up to 50% travel and involves working closely with the Sales team as a technical subject matter expert for BigID's platform. Key responsibilities include consulting on best practices, offering solution architecture and design direction, staying updated on competitive solutions, driving customer success, and working with Product Management to capture customer feedback.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Excellent customer-facing communication and organization skills
• Good troubleshooting abilities and a methodical approach
• Ability to describe complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Passion for demonstrating solutions and providing technical input during sales processes
• Broad understanding of enterprise data architecture, privacy, and security technologies
• Experience with RDBMS systems, no-SQL data stores, Hadoop technologies, and cloud technologies
• Prior experience with Identity and Access Management or Data Loss Prevention tools (a plus)
• Experience with Linux and container frameworks, such as Kubernetes (required)
• Minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales engineering or consulting role within a multinational environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (Master's degree a plus)
