As a Senior Platform Engineer (Security), you'll join the Platform team (the Owls) to drive security initiatives across the engineering organization. You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing security-first solutions, working with cloud-native technologies, and ensuring best practices in DevSecOps. The role requires expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and modern observability tools, while contributing to the company's technical strategy.

Responsibilities For Senior Platform Engineer (Security)

  • Architect, build and operate Platform and Infrastructure tooling
  • Contribute towards strategy and vision for Internal Platform with focus on Security
  • Lead and drive Security Initiatives across the Engineering Organization
  • Work with Staff and Senior engineers to understand Product and service architecture
  • Implement security best-practices and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements For Senior Platform Engineer (Security)

Kubernetes
TypeScript
  • Experience with AWS and Cloud-native architecture patterns
  • Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, Helm)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies
  • Strong foundations in security engineering (cloud and application)
  • Experience with container technologies
