As a Senior Platform Engineer (Security), you'll be at the forefront of shaping and implementing security initiatives across the engineering organization. You'll work with cloud-native technologies, focusing on AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and modern DevSecOps practices. The role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, as you'll contribute to the platform's vision while ensuring robust security measures.
The ideal candidate brings strong foundations in security engineering, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices. You'll need to be comfortable with both coding and infrastructure, understanding modern observability principles and container technologies. Your role will be crucial in driving security awareness and best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities For Senior Platform Engineer (Security)
- Architect, build and operate Platform and Infrastructure tooling
- Drive Developer Experience, Reliability, and Security
- Contribute towards strategy and vision for Internal Platform
- Lead on shaping and driving Security Initiatives
- Work with Staff and Senior engineers to understand Product architecture
- Implement security best-practices and CI/CD
- Drive security awareness and advocate for best practices
Requirements For Senior Platform Engineer (Security)
- Proficiency in AWS and Cloud-native architecture patterns
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, Helm)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Container technologies expertise
- Understanding of observability principles
- Strong foundations in security engineering
- Networking fundamentals knowledge
- Comfortable in coding and scripting languages
- Must have permanent right to work in the UK
