Software Engineer - Fiat

BitGo, established in 2013, is at the forefront of digital asset infrastructure, serving as the operational backbone of the digital economy. The Fiat Software Engineer role is based in their Toronto office, focusing on creating robust fiat infrastructure for crypto on- and off-ramps. This position offers an opportunity to work on expanding BitGo's fiat currency support internationally across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires strong backend development skills with at least 3 years of experience, emphasizing algorithm design, system architecture, and API development. The ideal candidate should have experience with technologies like Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and Node.js, along with a solid understanding of banking integrations and blockchain technology.

As part of BitGo's Fiat team, you'll be instrumental in bridging traditional finance with cryptocurrency, working on secure and compliant solutions. The company handles a significant portion of Bitcoin network transactions and is the largest independent digital asset custodian and staking provider globally.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from 180,000 - 220,000 CAD base salary, plus equity and performance bonuses. This is an in-person role at the Toronto office, offering the chance to collaborate directly with team members and contribute to innovative problem-solving in the digital asset space.
