We are searching for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. As BitGo processes a significant amount of cryptocurrency transactions, we need to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and platform. Our integrated platforms interact with numerous exchanges, agencies, and governments worldwide, utilizing the best technology the industry offers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with design and product managers to develop new UIs
- Improving existing UI functionality
- Building reusable code
- Enhancing codebase health
- Cross-team communication
- Providing mentorship and code reviews
- Maintaining and improving application performance
Required skills:
- At least 5 years of frontend software engineering experience
- Strong experience with React
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, Node.js, and Express applications
- Familiarity with design systems and testing methodologies

Responsibilities For Senior Frontend Engineer
- Collaborate closely with design and product managers to plan and develop new UIs for upcoming initiatives
- Improve existing UI functionality on a variety of products
- Build reusable code for future use
- Codebase health improvements
- Cross team communications with stakeholders to understand implementation requirements and limitations
- Provide mentorship to peers in the broader engineering team through code reviews and education on best practices
- Provide maintenance support and enhance performance to existing applications
Requirements For Senior Frontend Engineer
- At least 5 years of frontend software engineering experience
- Strong experience with React
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and HTML
- Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience working with Node.js and Express applications
- Experience working with design systems
- Experience with unit, Integration and end-to-end testing
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
