Description For Backend Engineer

Bitstamp, the original Cryptocurrency Exchange, is seeking a passionate Backend Engineer to join their Product Engineering – Frontend & Backoffice division. Founded in 2011, Bitstamp has grown to serve over 4 million clients globally, offering intuitive web and mobile apps along with industry-leading APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering foundation, proficiency in Python, and excellent communication skills. They will develop services for new features, design RESTful APIs and microservices, and work closely with the product development team. The role involves using Python primarily, with additional technologies like Golang, Django, and MySQL.
