Platform Engineer - AWS

BJSS is seeking a Platform Engineer specializing in AWS to join our team in Bristol. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work on solving technology challenges for clients in a fast-paced, agile environment. You'll be part of multi-disciplinary teams, delivering advanced technology solutions across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise AWS environments
• Work with a broad range of AWS services
• Apply and enable container and container orchestration technologies
• Implement observability technologies
• Use infrastructure-as-code tools
• Automate processes using scripting languages
• Work with iterative/agile development methodologies

Required Skills:

• Experience in Cloud Engineering/Technology (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Passion for automation and experience with pipelines
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS)
• Familiarity with observability technologies (Dynatrace, ELK stack, Prometheus)
• Scripting skills (Python, Groovy, Ruby)
• Understanding of AWS networking standards and technologies
