Design Engineer

BKF Engineers is seeking passionate and inquisitive Design Engineers with excellent technical skills and a sincere interest in land development. As a civil engineering Design Engineer at BKF, you will work alongside experienced engineers on various projects. Your responsibilities will include project design for site development, including grading and drainage plans, utility systems for water and sewer, report preparation and master planning studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimates. Projects encompass residential, commercial, mixed-use, roadway, and public works.

BKF offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $97,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid biweekly. The company provides numerous benefits, including the opportunity to work on iconic projects along the West Coast, hybrid and flexible work models, a 4x10 schedule option (Fridays off), end-of-year bonuses, profit sharing, and a 401k plan.

BKF pays 100% of the premiums for medical, dental, and vision coverage and 50% for dependents. Employees receive 14 days of paid vacation time, 6 paid sick days, and 8 paid holidays.
