BKF Engineers is seeking an experienced Utilities Coordination Manager to lead their utility relocation efforts for construction projects. This senior-level position combines technical expertise with administrative leadership, requiring a professional who can effectively manage utility relocations and secure new utility services for project activations. Responsibilities For Senior Project Engineer, Utilities Coordination Manager

  • Plan, coordinate, direct, and review work of staff, contractors, and consultants for utility relocation
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation
  • Act as liaison between design engineers and agency/utility staff
  • Identify and document utility facilities within project limits
  • Oversee field inspections and coordinate pre-construction meetings
  • Prepare and negotiate Master Agreements with private utility companies
  • Interpret design drawings and specifications for construction projects
  • Supervise and mentor professional staff and consultants
  • Review, process, and validate utility company invoices
