Responsibilities For Senior Network Engineer
- Design and implement functional and efficient network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and internet systems
- Install and configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools
- Perform network maintenance and monitoring tasks to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability
- Evaluate network performance and develop solutions to optimize it
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the integration of network systems with other IT systems
- Stay up-to-date on emerging network technologies and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures
Requirements For Senior Network Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering
- Excellent knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, VLAN, and VPN
- Strong experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures, using different network hardware and software products
- Experience in implementing and troubleshooting network security solutions
- Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
