Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Ensure production platforms on AWS are highly reliable, available, and performing
  • Ensure production platforms and software are scalable
  • Analyze and identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations
  • Respond to and resolve incidents
  • Implement insights for increased visibility
  • Define and implement auto-healing and auto-recovery capabilities

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer

Java
Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in IT or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as Software engineer or Site Reliability Engineer
  • Knowledge of AWS services
  • Professional knowledge of Java and related tooling
  • Excellent software engineering skills
  • Expertise in Docker for managing containerized applications
  • Experience with observability tooling (Splunk, OpenTelemetry, Grafana)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling
  • Deep sense of security
  • Willing to perform on-call duties every 4-5 weeks
