Description For Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer

Boston Dynamics AI Institute is on a mission to solve the most important and fundamental challenges in AI and Robotics, aiming to enable future generations of intelligent machines that will help us all live better lives. As an Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer at our Cambridge, MA office, you'll be at the forefront of developing technology for robots to advance their capabilities and usefulness.

In this role, you'll be responsible for operating our on-premise and cloud training and production infrastructure, developing container orchestration in Kubernetes and Helm, and implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Ansible and Terraform. You'll work closely with research and applied science teams to put models into production, ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge AI and robotics technologies.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of industry experience in developing applications, designing data architectures, or writing software using scripting languages. Your strong background in computer science, engineering, or data science will be crucial in tackling complex challenges in our field.

You'll be working with a variety of technologies, including C++, Python, git, and modern CI/CD practices. Your experience with Grafana and Prometheus will be valuable in monitoring and maintaining our systems. Additionally, knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration tools would be a significant advantage.
