Bottomline is seeking a Senior QA Engineer I to join their team in Bangalore, India. This role involves developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and systems for their business payment and cash management solutions. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in automation framework development for web applications and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Page Object Model
- Analyzing user needs and software requirements
- Coordinating automated testing efforts for concurrent projects and releases
- Working closely with developers and other QA engineers
- Utilizing appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end QA
Required skills:
- Selenium WebDriver API programming experience
- Java programming knowledge
- Familiarity with Cucumber/Serenity-BDD
- Experience with web application UI and RESTful services testing
- SQL database query skills
- Test reporting using TestNG

Responsibilities For Senior QA Engineer I
- Analyze user needs and participate in developing test strategy
- Write test cases and develop test automation scripts/framework
- Support continuous integration
- Work with developers and other QA engineers to define optimal automation plans
- Learn and propose new automation tools for future framework development
- Review automation code and provide suggestions
- Develop test automation scripts in Selenium WebDriver Page Object Model framework
- Maintain and enhance automation test framework
- Coordinate and manage automated testing efforts for concurrent projects and software releases
- Provide feedback to internal and external clients
Requirements For Senior QA Engineer I
- 4+ years of experience in automation framework development for Web application
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Selenium WebDriver API programming experience
- Knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of Cucumber/Serenity-BDD
- Experience with SQL Developer, VMware, Eclipse/IntelliJ, SoapUI, Jenkins, JMeter
- Ability to perform automated testing against web application UI
- Ability to perform automated testing against RESTful services
- Ability to read, write and analyze SQL database queries (MSSQL, Oracle)
- Test reporting knowledge using TestNG, SoapUI and Report Portal
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
