UI Engineer

Bottomline is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level UI Engineer to join their team either remotely or in their Portsmouth, NH office. As part of the Global UI Leadership and Development (GUILD) team, you'll be primarily responsible for enhancing and improving Bottomline's internal design system and component library.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining Bottomline's internal design system
• Collaborating with product designers and UX specialists
• Supporting the adoption of the design system by product development teams
• Defining and enforcing UI Engineering standards & best practices
• Participating in Code Reviews
• Creating prototypes and proof of concepts

Requirements:

• 2+ years of UI Development experience
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent studies in modern technologies
• Strong fundamentals in UI Development (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Proficiency with React ecosystem
• Understanding of Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA)
• Strong understanding of Responsive Design principles
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• In-depth knowledge of modern browsers
• Strong communication skills
