Wordpress Backend Developer - BOT

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins
• Customize WordPress solutions to meet business needs
• Lead implementation of WordPress features and projects
• Manage DNS configurations and ensure proper domain routing
• Participate in architectural discussions
• Mentor junior developers
• Conduct code reviews
• Work closely with designers and frontend developers
• Develop and optimize database queries for WordPress (MySQL)
• Troubleshoot and debug complex WordPress issues
• Write comprehensive unit tests
• Adhere to industry best practices, including SOLID principles
• Stay updated with emerging WordPress technologies
• Participate in Agile development processes

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong understanding of PHP and the WordPress ecosystem
• Experience with DNS management and domain configurations
• Proficiency in MySQL and WordPress database performance optimization
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
• Knowledge of version control using Git
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Ability to mentor junior developers

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with managed WordPress hosting environments, particularly WPEngine
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices
• Experience with performance optimization techniques for WordPress
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools
• Familiarity with front-end technologies for WordPress theme customization
