Responsibilities For Interface Engineer
- Lead and manage the integrations engine, ensuring efficient and reliable data flow between systems
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces using standards like HL7, FHIR, and APIs to connect with third-party applications
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing integrations to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams to define integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies
- Provide technical support for integration-related issues
Requirements For Interface Engineer
Python
JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on system integrations
- Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, and data transformation tools
- Experience working with healthcare systems like Meditech, eCW, or Epic is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of data mapping, ETL processes, and interoperability standards
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and JavaScript
- Experience with cloud-based architectures and containerization is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
