Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

BreederDAO is seeking a Junior Web Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Scrum team. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web applications through various testing methodologies. Your duties will include functional, regression, and acceptance testing, with a focus on layout, interface usability, and user experience improvements. You'll be involved in the entire software development life cycle, creating and executing test plans, and working closely with development teams to define testing protocols for new features.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive testing of web applications
• Creating and executing test plans for existing and new products
• Developing test scenarios and ensuring requirement traceability
• Providing detailed bug reports using JIRA
• Collaborating with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Monitoring debugging processes and investigating non-conforming software
• Tracking quality assurance metrics
• Staying current with new testing tools and strategies

Requirements for this role include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, familiarity with web protocols and data formats, and experience with cloud API testing. Knowledge of automation testing tools like Cypress, JMeter, Postman, or Selenium is advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of UI/UX principles and basic knowledge of integrating test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
