Software Engineer - Fullstack

Brigit is looking for fullstack engineers to help scale their next-generation consumer finance platform to millions of users in the next year. They've built a mobile/web app on React and React Native with Typescript, and a backend of Java services in Google Cloud. The team has two main goals: 1) Feature development supporting numerous external and internal applications, and 2) Scalability of customer-facing applications.

As a fullstack engineer, you'll be given an extraordinary amount of autonomy and ownership, with a large say in the direction of the company's technology and product. Recent accomplishments include building a Payments API platform, implementing advanced mathematical processes for risk algorithms, optimizing database performance, and building internal tools for customer support.

The role involves evolving APIs, optimizing queries and database schemas, implementing algorithms for monetary transactions and risk management, integrating with 3rd party APIs, improving internal automations, implementing interaction and motion design, automating visual testing, creating new mobile & web clients, and A/B testing features.

Required skills include 3+ years of industry experience, REST API development using Java, UI/UX building with React or React Native, and experience with SQL databases. GraphQL, Kubernetes/Docker, and finance experience are considered pluses.
