Description For Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer

Broadcom is seeking an Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing, verifying, documenting, and supporting various types of complex IP for Enterprise Storage products. The ideal candidate will work independently and as part of a larger development team, being familiar with all aspects of the design flow including schematic capture, design verification, guidance on physical design, and running extracted verification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and verifying analog/mixed-signal circuits
  • Providing guidance on physical design
  • Creating documentation such as design guides, verification plans, audit reports, and design reviews
  • Working closely with other design, verification, modeling, and physical design engineers
  • Supporting validation and test engineers post-silicon

Desired skills:

  • Familiarity with design concepts and architectures for complex analog and mixed-signal circuits
  • Understanding of analog and mixed-signal design flows (several years of experience preferred)
  • Experience with low noise, high-speed analog circuit design
  • Proficiency in simulation using Cadence or related tools
  • Experience with physical design and extraction
  • Experience developing models for analog circuits
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Ability to work independently and with team members, both local and remote

The position offers a competitive salary range of $59,000 - $95,000 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and equity.
