Broadcom, a global technology leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking an ASIC Design Senior Manager for their Custom Silicon IC Team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge ASIC designs for AI, Cellular, Networking, Computing, and Storage products. The position requires leading a team responsible for developing custom CMOS ASICs operating at speeds exceeding 1GHz, from concept through product release.
The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring deep understanding of IC design processes including floor planning, routing, timing, and physical verification. The successful candidate will manage customer relationships while ensuring successful chip design execution across all aspects of the development cycle. With a competitive base salary range of $146,000 - $234,000, plus bonus and equity opportunities, this position offers excellent compensation.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years in management, strong technical background in electrical engineering, and proven leadership abilities. They must excel in both technical aspects of ASIC design and team management, demonstrating expertise in CAD/EDA tools, design for test concepts, and timing analysis.

Responsibilities For ASIC Design Senior Manager
- Lead & manage a leading-edge ASIC design team responsible for all aspects of physical ASIC design
- Customer communication & management
- Internal communication to align and drive schedules with IP teams, DFT teams, packaging teams, quality teams
- Ensure on-time execution and first-time right silicon for all ASIC design programs
- Floor planning chips and blocks
- Top & Block-Level Routing
- Timing management for mission mode and test modes
- Integration of memories, SerDes, and I/O
- Integration of test and clocking structures
- Design of complex standard cell and custom blocks
- Physical verification to ensure error free artwork/mask release
Requirements For ASIC Design Senior Manager
- Minimum of 15 years of overall experience with minimum 5 years in management
- Must have legal right to work in the US
- Good communication & teamwork skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or Master's Degree
- Management or technical leadership experience (5-10 years)
- CMOS digital and/or analog circuit basics knowledge
- Program Management skills
- Proficiency in CAD/EDA tools
- Knowledge of Design For Test concepts and tools
- Experience with static timing analysis concepts and tools
