Description For ASIC Implementation Engineer

Broadcom is seeking an ASIC Implementation Engineer with expertise in multiple disciplines including Floorplanning, place and route, clock methodology, power planning and analysis, timing closure, signal integrity and physical design checks. The ideal candidate will have chip level expertise in DRC/LVS Calibre tools and the ability to decipher complex manufacturing rules in 2nm, 3nm, 5nm technology nodes to understand fix DRCs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in large complex design implementations using the latest technology nodes
  • Lead one or more disciplines in design closure as part of the design team
  • Adapt quickly to changing requirements and work with multiple EDA vendor solutions
  • Drive peer reviews to ensure all quality requirements are met
  • Work with design teams across multiple geographies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related ASIC implementation experience
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (Post graduate degree in EE/CE is desirable)
  • Ability to work on complex technical projects with little supervision
  • Expertise in multiple EDA vendor solutions

Broadcom offers a competitive compensation package, including:
