Broadcom, a global technology leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking an experienced ASIC Implementation Engineer to join their team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This senior-level position offers a competitive salary range of $119,000 - $190,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of ASIC implementation experience, with deep expertise in multiple disciplines including floorplanning, place and route, clock methodology, and power planning. You'll work with cutting-edge technology nodes (2nm, 3nm, 5nm) and be responsible for leading complex design implementations while collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.

Responsibilities For ASIC Implementation Engineer

  • Participate in large complex design implementations using latest technology nodes
  • Lead one or more disciplines in design closure as part of the design team
  • Participate and drive peer reviews to ensure quality requirements
  • Work with customers and design teams across multiple geographies
  • Complete tasks with little supervision
  • Lead projects and set direction for other project members

Requirements For ASIC Implementation Engineer

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required
  • Minimum 8 years of related ASIC implementation experience
  • Expertise in Floorplanning, place and route, clock methodology
  • Experience with power planning and analysis, timing closure
  • Expertise in signal integrity and physical design checks
  • Chip level expertise in DRC/LVS Calibre tools
  • Experience with 2nm, 3nm, 5nm technology nodes
  • Ability to work with multiple EDA vendor solutions
  • Post graduate degree in EE/CE is desirable
