Cloud Infrastructure Architect

VMware by Broadcom is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join their Pre-Sales Engineering team. This role focuses on Private AI Foundation and Infrastructure Automation products based on VMware Cloud Foundation. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in technology-related areas, including enterprise systems management and infrastructure architecture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evangelizing VMware's strategy and conducting product demonstrations for customer executives and technical leaders in Japan
• Providing expert technical support for VMware Private Cloud automation and AIOps management
• Leading Proof of Concept exercises for VCF automation and private AI products
• Maintaining knowledge of competitor products and industry trends
• Collaborating with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and Engineering teams
• Leading technical pre-sales community discussions
• Publishing blogs and documentation on best practices and architectural references

Required skills:

• Strong technical proficiency with IT infrastructure automation and AIOps management solutions
• Ability to simplify complex solutions for easy understanding
• Experience presenting to Enterprise, Telco, and Public-sector customers in Japan
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

Preferred skills:

• VCAP Data Center Virtualization and Cloud Management and Automation certifications
• CKA, CKAD, CKS certifications
• Programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud)
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English (TOEIC 800)
