Broadcom Inc., a global technology leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking a DCIM Equipment Engineer for their Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD). This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing CVD and PECVD equipment in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring both engineering knowledge and team management skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in wafer process manufacturing equipment maintenance, with a strong background in thin film deposition processes. Responsibilities For DCIM Equipment Engineer
- Maintain, optimize and troubleshoot equipment for CVD and PECVD in a 24/7 HVM manufacturing environment
- Work with peers and equipment maintenance teams on safety, quality, yield, reliability, productivity
- Tool installations, moves and decommissions per established procedures
- Characterize and document improvements via established methods and systems
- Work with process development groups to ensure tools meet quality standards
- Establish KPI's and utilize SPC/FDC to monitor performance
- Manage multiple priorities and provide training to the equipment maintenance team
Requirements For DCIM Equipment Engineer
- BS (MS preferred) in Physics, ME, EE or related discipline
- 2 or more years of experience with wafer process manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in HVM
- Experience with thin film deposition on CVD, PECVD and Diffusion
- Solid understanding of SPC, data driven decision making
- Excellent teamwork, good verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with statistical methods and software (JMP, Klarity, FDC)
