The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience with a BS or 10+ years with an MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering. Responsibilities For Design Implementation Engineer
- Work on Design Implementation activities related to place and route and timing closure
- Drive tools and methodologies to achieve desired PPA metrics
- Perform equivalence checks, STA, Timing closure and power optimization
- Implement timing and functional ECOs
- Apply Broadcom's design methodology and milestone flow
- Work on floor-planning, partitioning, placement, clock tree synthesis, route and physical verification
Requirements For Design Implementation Engineer
- BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 12+ years experience or MS with 10+ years experience
- Experience with tools like Primetime, ICC2, Innovus, Caliber, LEC
- Full chip tapeout experience with 7nm and lower technologies
- Experience in working in a global team and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Should have worked on tape out of at least 1-2 ASIC's in 7nm or lower technologies
- Hands on experience with timing analysis and place and route tools for ASIC/SoC Design
