This role focuses on crucial ASIC design implementation activities, requiring expertise in place and route, timing closure, and physical verification. The position offers a competitive salary range of $91,000-$162,000 plus comprehensive benefits.
The ideal candidate will work with cutting-edge 7nm and lower technology nodes, applying Broadcom's proven design methodology to achieve right-first-time silicon. Key responsibilities include floor-planning, partitioning, clock tree synthesis, and timing analysis. You'll be working with industry-standard tools like Primetime, ICC2, and Innovus.

Responsibilities For Design Implementation Engineer
- Work on Design Implementation activities related to place and route and timing closure
- Floor-planning, partitioning, placement, clock tree synthesis, route, timing analysis
- Perform equivalence checks, STA, Timing closure and power optimization
- Implement timing and functional ECOs
- Apply Broadcom's design methodology and milestone flow
- Drive tools and methodologies to achieve desired PPA metrics
Requirements For Design Implementation Engineer
- BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 5+ years experience or MS with 3+ years experience
- Experience with tools like Primetime, ICC2, Innovus, Caliber, LEC
- Full chip tapeout experience with 7nm and lower technologies
- Should have worked on tape out of at least 1-2 ASIC's in 7nm or lower technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a global team environment
- Self-starter who can work independently
