Responsibilities For Design Support Engineer

  • Manage interface between design groups and foundries
  • Review performance requirements and operating conditions with designers
  • Work with foundry and internal CAD to enable design with technology files and process design kits
  • Validate design IP with Manufacturing, Central Engineering, and Design
  • Handle product tape out, verification of design rule violations, mask data, and process flows
  • Resolve prototype lot issues
  • Work with design teams to ensure product tape outs meet requirements
  • Hold pre-design kickoff and pre-tape out meetings
  • Manage tape out activity automation

Requirements For Design Support Engineer

  • Bachelor's and 5+ years of related experience or Master's degree and 3+ years of related experience or PhD
