Broadcom's ASIC Product Division is seeking a DFT Manager to lead their team at the San Jose Design Center. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team of DFT Engineers working on delivering quality custom silicon products. The position involves comprehensive leadership from pre-sales through design & silicon execution to production release. The role requires strong technical expertise in DFT (Design for Test) methodologies combined with proven management skills.
The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $141,000 to $225,000 annually, plus discretionary bonuses and equity opportunities. The role demands a seasoned professional with at least 12 years of experience, including 3+ years in management, preferably with an advanced degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering.
As DFT Manager, you'll be responsible for driving first-time-right silicon initiatives, managing test vector generation, and ensuring successful product introductions. You'll work closely with internal teams and customers, leading evening meetings with overseas teams and occasional travel. The role requires someone who can foster a positive work environment while maintaining high technical standards and efficiency in test cost management.

Responsibilities For DFT Manager
- Lead a group of DFT Engineers in San Jose working on full chip and/or IP DFT & Test vector generation and silicon validation
- Drive towards 1st time right silicon, test vectors, new product introduction (NPI) and expedited ramp to production
- Evaluate & drive development & standardization of Industry leading DFT methodologies
- Maximize team productivity and manage & prioritize resources efficiently
- Develop strong customer partnerships and support multiple customer meetings per week
- Drive to minimize test costs and maximize yield without compromising quality
- Foster a positive can-do attitude within the organization
- Establish and maintain high morale despite business challenges
- Occasional travel to customer or internal sites and evening meetings with overseas teams
Requirements For DFT Manager
- Minimum 12 years of overall experience
- Minimum 3 years in management
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering (preferred)
- 12+ years of hands-on DFT experience (preferred)
- Management degrees and certifications (preferred)
