Description For DFT Staff Engineer

Broadcom, a global technology leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking a DFT Staff Engineer for their ASIC Product Division. This role is crucial for developing and implementing Design for Testability solutions in complex SoC designs.

The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor technology, handling various aspects of DFT from architecture to post-silicon debugging. You'll be working with state-of-the-art tools like Mentor Graphics DFT tools (Tessent Shell) and be responsible for critical tasks including test insertion, verification, and pattern generation.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies, including Physical Design & STA teams, while also having the opportunity to interact directly with external customers. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be supervising team members while handling independent work.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DFT concepts, particularly in ATPG, MBIST & IJTAG, combined with excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl and shell scripting is valuable for this position.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading technology company that values diversity and inclusion, offering a collaborative environment where you can make significant contributions to complex semiconductor solutions. Located in Bangalore's Electronic City, you'll be part of a global team working on innovative solutions in the semiconductor industry.
