Responsibilities For Embedded Systems Lead Engineer

  • Lead a fast moving, multi-site team of 5-8 FW engineers
  • Design and implement firmware for new integrated circuit products
  • Develop quality software using best practices for all phases of the software design life cycle
  • System architecture - collect information on HW and SW requirements from stakeholders
  • Write re-usable code to support multiple generations of devices
  • Document code for use by other teams / customers
  • Collaborate with PCB and SI engineers for full system design
  • Audit PCB designs including component selection and FW impact
  • Test manufactured HW and SW modules and deploy to customers

Requirements For Embedded Systems Lead Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 8+ years of Embedded Software development OR Master's Degree with 6+ years
  • Proficient in C/C++, Python
  • Experience with embedded software interfacing with multiple HW and SW subsystems
