Responsibilities For Emulation and Silicon Validation Engineer
- Conduct detailed studies of chip architecture and micro-architecture
- Develop system-level tests using Tcl, ITcl, Python, C/C++
- Synthesize Verilog RTL and build models for emulation platforms
- Perform chip/system-level debugging and root cause analysis
- Develop and optimize automation scripts and emulation methodologies
- Create reusable synthesizable design blocks and libraries
- Plan, organize, and execute silicon bring-up and test plans
- Create and maintain emulation and post-silicon validation environments
- Collaborate with Architecture, Design, DV, Software teams
Requirements For Emulation and Silicon Validation Engineer
- Bachelor's degree + 12+ years of related experience
- Experience with C/C++ DPI Transactors and SystemVerilog assertions
- Ability to design and develop synthesizable models for emulation
- Experience with IXIA/Spirent traffic generators
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and RFC test suites
- Familiarity with PCIe, SPI, and JTAG protocols
