Description For Engineering Program Manager

The Engineering Program Manager at Broadcom will lead and manage the delivery of complex storage, PCIe switching and Ethernet NIC solutions. This role is responsible for overall program planning including budget, structure, schedule, and planning staffing requirements with a major emphasis on quality and time to market. The manager will handle customer requirements while ensuring good practices in standard methodologies and processes to deliver Broadcom solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple large and small projects simultaneously
  • Working with customers and internal cross-functional teams
  • Managing project budget, profit and loss
  • Implementing processes across cross-functional teams
  • Resolving complex business/technical challenges
  • Understanding existing systems/technology and their dependencies
  • Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • Providing strong customer service both internally and externally
  • Working effectively with all levels of Management
  • Delivering executive-level presentations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years in Program and/or Project Management leadership roles
  • BSEE or BSCE degree
  • Experience in cross-departmental management, teamwork, and execution
  • PMI certification (preferred but not required)

Broadcom offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Annual base salary range: $107,000 - $190,000
