As a Quality Engineer in the Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) fab in Fort Collins, Colorado, you will collaborate with customers and colleagues to sustain, control, evaluate, design, implement and improve fab quality processes/systems to enable the best semiconductor products in the wireless industry. The ideal candidate for this position has the ability to be a strong customer advocate, effectively lead changes to improve the organization, and make sure things are done right.
Specific Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Identify and drive opportunities for improvement and simplification in our quality systems and processes while maintaining high quality procedures and product
- Lead weekly Quality meetings and assist others that are working on process changes
- Validate proposed changes and non-conformances in the fab as the Quality Engineer
- Drive organizational accountability to policies and standard operating procedures
- Align with others in the Quality Management System's (QMS) team and various cross functional teams to accomplish higher level organizational changes and objectives
- Identify training needs for quality concepts and quality tools for all groups, and work with the training team to generate training
- Lead Electronic Quality Management System (EQMS) evolution and improvement activities

- Basic programming or scripting skills including JMP scripting language (JSL), SQL, Apps Script(JavaScript), or other similar languages.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as JMP and data visualization and query building with Spotfire
- Familiarity with workflow and knowledge management systems such as Atlassian Confluence.
- A preference for Quality certifications; CQE and CMQ/OE
- Ability to work on site in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is not a remote work opportunity.
Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8+ years of related experience in a quality or engineering role; at this level post-graduate coursework may be desirable or Master's degree in Engineering and 6+ years of related experience, or PhD and 3+ years of related experience
