Responsibilities For IC Design Engineer
- Physical design activities at block and SoC level
- Floor-planning, partitioning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing
- Physical verification (LVS/DRC/ERC/Antenna)
- Congestion resolution and timing closure
- Equivalence checks, STA, Crosstalk delay analysis, noise analysis, power optimization
- Implementation of timing and functional ECOs
- Apply Broadcom's design methodology and milestone flow
Requirements For IC Design Engineer
- Experience with tools such as Innovus/Encounter, ICC, Caliber, LEC, Primetime
- Experience in 5nm/7nm/16nm technologies preferred
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and guide team members
- Experience working in a global team and dynamic environment
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies
