This senior-level position focuses on designing and implementing testing methodologies for high-frequency mixed signal analog front-end chips used in automotive applications. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination with advanced degrees) and strong expertise in testing high-speed custom chips for the automotive market. Responsibilities For Mixed Signal Test Engineer
- Design and implement testing methods for high frequency mixed signal analog front-end chips
- Evaluate performance of high-speed digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital circuitry
- Measure electrical characteristics in time and frequency domains
- Work with chip, package and board designers to improve testability
- Design automated bench level device testing procedures
- Generate comprehensive test reports
- Participate in chip evaluation fixtures design and development
Requirements For Mixed Signal Test Engineer
- Bachelors and 8+ years of experience, or Masters with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years
- Experience with high-speed custom & standards-compliant chips for automotive market
- Familiarity with modern high speed test equipment
- Experience with analyzing multi-gigabit ADC and DAC testing
- Understanding of VLSI IC I/O & control
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive programming experience in Python (preferred), C, C++, C#, Matlab, or perl
