Broadcom, a global leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to join their Production Board Products team. This senior-level position requires a strong background in manufacturing operations, particularly in PCBA products within the Server Networking space. The role demands exceptional leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams effectively.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to manage the entire lifecycle of new product introduction processes, from early concept to full production. You'll work closely with contract manufacturing partners, engineering teams, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches. The role requires coordinating complex activities across multiple stakeholders, defining critical phase criteria, and driving production readiness.

As an NPI Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading communication with senior management, representing the Operations organization in executive interactions, and ensuring alignment between various teams. Responsibilities For NPI Engineer - Production Board Products

  • Manage Global Operations organization's NPI processes from product concept through entire lifecycle
  • Identify Program requirements and coordinate operations & supply chain activities
  • Ensure pilot and production readiness goals are achieved
  • Coordinate activities for phase reviews from product inception to production release
  • Drive pilot and production ramp readiness with contract manufacturers
  • Coordinate with Contract Manufacturing partners on material and infrastructure requirements
  • Define entry and exit criteria for each phase to meet schedule, cost, quality, and capacity targets
  • Lead communication about project status and risks to senior management

Requirements For NPI Engineer - Production Board Products

  • 8+ years experience in new product introduction and/or manufacturing engineering
  • Experience in Manufacturing Operations for PCBA products in Server Networking
  • Experience working with Contract Manufacturing partners
  • Experience working with Design Development teams
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree required, Engineering preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to thrive and prioritize while leading multiple projects in parallel
