Broadcom, a global technology leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking an NPI Engineer (Wireless Semiconductor) to join their team in Penang, Malaysia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in new product development and manufacturing integration.

As an NPI Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working on cutting-edge wireless semiconductor technologies. Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for product and process improvements, collaborating with R&D teams, performing data analysis using Six Sigma concepts, and developing automation tools for product analysis and RF/electrical characterization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in new product engineering and/or RF test development, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. You should possess a degree in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical/Science/Physics) and be proficient in coding languages such as C# and Python. Your analytical skills, knowledge of data science and statistics, and familiarity with Six Sigma quality concepts will be crucial in this role.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to support new product development and seamlessly transfer to manufacturing ecosystem
  • Proactively explore & identify opportunities for product or process improvements
  • Collaborate with R&D during the product development stage
  • Perform product data analysis using Six Sigma concepts and tools
  • Develop automation tools for product analysis and RF/electrical characterization

Requirements For NPI Engineer (Wireless Semiconductor)

Python
  • BS, MS or PhD in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical/Science/Physics)
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented and a team player with strong leadership, interpersonal, & communication skills
  • Strong background in new product engineering and/or RF test development
  • Experience with RF test or test development
  • Proficiency in coding (C#, Python, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data science, statistics
  • Familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
  • Positive attitude and excellent communications skills in English
