Responsibilities For R&D Engineer Physical Design
- Participate in large complex design implementations using the latest technology nodes
- Lead one or more disciplines in design closure as part of the design team
- Participate and drive peer reviews to ensure all quality requirements are met
- Work with customers and design teams across multiple geographies
Requirements For R&D Engineer Physical Design
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years related experience or MS in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years related work experience
- Expertise in synthesis, design for test, floorplanning, place and route
- Experience with clock methodology, power planning and analysis
- Knowledge of timing closure, signal integrity and physical design checks
- Experience with multiple EDA vendor solutions
