R&D Software Engineer - VCF Networking

Broadcom is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) Networking team. This role focuses on developing and managing core network virtualization technology that powers Broadcom's VCF Division products. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge network virtualization technologies, network overlays, and layer-2 switching.

The role involves designing and developing large-scale distributed configuration management systems while working alongside highly motivated engineers. You'll interact with major customers to shape the next generation of Broadcom's industry-leading VMware Cloud Foundation platform. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in distributed systems, networking stack, and cloud computing/virtualization.

The position requires either a Masters with 10+ years of experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Strong proficiency in Java and Python is essential, with C++ knowledge being advantageous.
