R&D Software Engineer - VCF Networking

Broadcom is seeking a R&D Software Engineer for their VCF Networking team to work on their VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Division products. This role focuses on configuration of core network virtualization technology, working with bleeding-edge network virtualization technologies, network overlays, and layer-2 switching. The position is part of the VCF Division, which builds products and solutions powering hybrid cloud infrastructure.

The role involves working alongside highly motivated engineers and interacting with major customers to define the next generation of Broadcom's industry-leading VMWare Cloud Foundation platform. You'll be responsible for designing and developing large-scale distributed configuration management systems, while collaborating with Product Management and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in distributed systems, networking stack, and cloud computing/virtualization. Strong programming skills in Java and Python are required, with C++ knowledge being advantageous.
