Description For Regional Sales Engineer

Broadcom is seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to the sales function. The ideal candidate will assist the field organization in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and participate actively in the sales process from deal qualification to closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to sales account planning
  • Own the deal's technical closure
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations
  • Act as the customer voice to influence future product design

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or PhD with 3+ years of experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Broadcom's products and competitive landscape
  • Ability to work on complex issues requiring analysis of variable factors
  • Leadership skills to champion significant projects and mentor junior team members

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, determining work priorities based on general direction from managers. They will have the opportunity to influence product development and contribute to Broadcom's growth in the semiconductor and software solutions market.
