Broadcom, a global technology leader in semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, is seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to join their team. This role requires a seasoned professional with 12 years of experience who will work closely with developers to understand their challenges and provide innovative solutions. The position involves supporting both software and hardware businesses, covering a wide spectrum of CI/CD tools and platforms.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing CI pipeline solutions, working with various businesses to understand SCM requirements, and delivering scalable solutions. They must possess expert-level knowledge in container technologies, infrastructure as code, and various DevOps tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
This role offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $103,000 to $182,000 annually, plus discretionary bonuses and equity opportunities. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company matching, ESPP, and various leave benefits.

- Work with businesses inside Broadcom to understand SCM requirements
- Design, architect and deliver full CI pipeline solutions
- Deliver simple, scalable solutions
- Monitor services and platforms, providing solutions and improvements
- Communicate clearly with the team and internal customers
Requirements For Senior DevOps Platform Engineer
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or similar
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Expert in maintaining and managing software build infrastructure (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Expert in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Expert in IaC technologies such as Helm, Packer, and Terraform
- Expert experience creating, maintaining, and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Expert experience in version control and source control management
- Expert in deploying SCM toolchain (Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, etc)
- Strong understanding of programming principles
- Experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with system management technologies (Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Chef)
- Experience in Microsoft and/or Linux system administration
- Experience in managing VMware-based virtualization
- Knowledge of test-driven development and automated testing
